When I ordered this it was going to take up to 5 weeks to get. I do not know if it is the norm but I had it in 5 days.It took a gunsmith to fit it but it was no fault of Boyds but quality control of the rifle maker. I upgraded from a plastic factory stock. If you decide to do this (change from plastic stock} be aware that you will have a trigger guard, a rear take down screw and a trigger guard screw. These 3 parts ended up costing over $30. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 was I felt the color illustrated was not true. It ended up more red looking than the picture showed. All things considered it is a good value and did improve accuracy. Color has grown on me. I would recommend.
