Comfortable, better than wood, sum flex at fore end but no gaps along barrel channel. Stock was a tight fit which is good, free float on barrel was also good which will increase accuracy. Good stock for the price.

These Hogue stocks are great light weight replacements for nice wood stocks that you don't want to ruin in the field. The overmolded rubber provides a great comfortable no-glare grip that is ambidextrous, right or left handed. The rigid internal skeleton has tubular aluminum pillars cast in that provide a non compressible stock screw connection from floorplate to action. The stock is easily modified in the pillar areas to allow epoxy bedding (DEVCON steel putty recommended) along with a free floating barrel channel for improved accuracy. Sling studs and good recoil pads are added benefits. If you like Quality and practical utility, you wont be disappointed.
