Howa 1500 –
Stock has excellent fit. Appears to be a great value. Have not put it to the test out in the field yet but can’t wait until November. I put this stock on a Howa 1500 in 6.5 prc. No extra adjustments were needed to mount it. Feels very comfortable with its design.

everything was perfect tell the frist round was fired, then the Magazine fell out and made rifle a single shoot that you had to slap the magazine back in with each round fired. If nit for this big problem it would have been a great stock..
Zuke the Duke –
Stock doesn't fit the action the safety and bolt will not engage even after minimal fitting as recommend. worthless Garbage! I would not recommend it to anyone . Pro Mag can do better.

First, I am not a ProMag fan, however when it comes to this stock I have been more than impressed and changing my opinion of the brand. From being aluminum pillar beaded from the factory and the stiffness of this stock I cannot recommend this enough for a long range build. The magazines function no matter the speed you run the bolt and the stock adjustments are simple yet functional. I would recommend this stock to anyone. One note, I had installed an aftermarket trigger and this caused fit issues. After some filing of the stock the fit was perfect. Just wanted to let folks know that aftermarket triggers don't use the same space as stock triggers.

Great stock! It far exceeded my expectation.For a howa long action there aren't very many stock options. I wanted something I could target shoot with and hunt with. My choices were promag ,boyds, B&C(only hunting style stocks) or custom.Recommendations for anyone who buys this stock *epoxy bed it (groups will shrink and be far more consistent but its rare this doesn't make any stock better even chassis systems!) *Add a limb saver if your shooting something larger then 6.5mm with light barrel(I used a Remington style limbsaver pad and drilled the plastic peace the factory butt pad slips over. There were dimples that matched Remington style pad perfectly .)**For hunters – If your just hunting and taking a shot at 200 yards or closer this stock is more than accurate enough and probably will not need epoxy bedding or a recoil pad upgrade.
Rusty –
I usually hate synthetic stocks on less expensive guns. My Weatherby Vanguard was no exception. I thought about a Boyd laminate like I've used in the past then glass bedding the action. I saw this come up on sale at Optics Planet and decided to try it . The action fit like the stock was custom made free floating the barrel with plenty of room. Sub MOA @ 100yd.s is no problem!
